Mac OS X: How to stop Keychain Access popup. It keeps asking for keychain "login" after I´ve changed login password

I already have read this post from Apple:

Mac OS X: Keychain Access asks for keychain "login" after changing login password

http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1631

and I´ve folowed the included instructions:

"I don't remember my original (former) account password

If this is the case, you'll have to delete the keychain.

In Keychain Access, choose Keychain List

from the Edit

menu.

Delete the "login" keychain.

The next time you log in to the account, you can save your current password in a keychain."

Well, is not working for me. I keep seeing a small popup window every time I use Safari or Adium, for example. The popup window requires me to introduce a password that I no longer have.

This is the message:

"Safari wants to use the "login" keychain.

Please enter the keychain password.

Password: ___________"

What should I do? How can I prevent this from happening again?

This is very annoying and irritating.
