Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I need to disable one of the cores in order to run an older program which doesn't work with dual. I can't figure out how to do this as I've updated to Snow Leopard 10.6.7 and CPU Palette seems to have disappeared from the applications. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I installed all the developer tools and optional instals but can't locate anything to do this on snow leopard 10.6.7. But I could find one before on the standard mac OS X before I upgraded.
I don't have CHUD installed, but there should be either a Processor preference pane or a command-line tool hwprefs, or both.
In 10.5, it's:
/Developer/Extras/PreferencePanes/Processor.prefPane
Double click to install for yourself, or click the checkbox and authenticate to install for all users.
Ah that's it!
I was looking in 'Applications', not Extras.
