Can someone post a step by step for dummies on how to turn on the music part og iCloud in iTunes 10.3 and IOS 4.3?
From my iPad I found out how to see and manually download music not on my iPad but in the Cloud.
But from iTunes I cannot see , let alone download, music bought on iPad.
Also no automatice synch in any direction.

Open iTunes on your computer and go to the iTunes Store. On the right under "Quick Links" you should see a new option "Purchased" marked as new. Click that and you should be able to view your purchased apps, books and music and options to view "all" and "not in my library"

Purchase on PC automaticaly downloaded toipad. But purchased on iPad required pushing cloud button on PC. Should that direction also be automatic?
I believe it should work in both directions. I think you need to turn on the feature in "iTunes >> Preferences >> Store"
I have purchased new music via iTunes on my iPhone, but can't find a way to download this music from the iCloud to the iTunes library on my Mac. There is no Music option in the preferences, or tab in the Purchased (NEW) area in iTunes Store. Why? See my screenshot
Are you located in the US? If not, this is why you don't have that option.
If you have verizon: the new iCloud beta will work not work on Verizon iPhone yet
Correct, since Verizon does not have 4.3, but iTunes 10.3 would show a checkbox for music on their screenshot even if they were on Verizon. It does not include it if they are not in the US.

Thanks for this. I am reasonably good at figuring out how to do thinks in the Apple world. I had no clue on this and was very disappointed that Apple didn't provide any instructions. The fact that many of us could't get there without help, such as yours, points to a attitude, at Apple, that you have to be too hip to use this feature. I hope someone at Apple reads this and see's how weak their effort was. Again, lokeswair thanks. LMP
Glad it worked for you Larry. Not sure what the thinking was, but I too was surprised that getting the beta working was such a puzzle. I'm sure once it's ready the idea will be to have it work so seamlessly that no instructions are needed, but that certainly wasn't the case here...
