ftp passive mode?

I must be completely stupid, but I'm trying to upload my website to namescout using iweb and it says my settings need to be in ftp passive mode. How do I do that ?

Just enter your ftp, username and password details into the iWeb ftp and click on test connection to see if it works.

If so, you can then upload your site.

open System Preferences, then go to Network --> 'Advanced...' button (lower right) --> Proxies pane --> then check the 'Use Passive FTP Mode (PASV)' check box in lower part of the pane.
