I want to move from 10.5.8 to Lion...

I currently use an iMac which is running 10.5.8

I like the look of Lion and want to jump to it.

My question is....

Do I have to buy 10.6.X(Snow Lepard?) for my iMac THEN ALSO buy Lion when it comes out?

And an additional question...

If I do thave to do that... do I buy a "sungle user" or "family pack" licence?

The iMac is the only machine it is going on... but there are 3 users on it. So does this mean I need a "family" pack?

Very confusing!

Thanks in advance....

iMac 24", Mac OS X (10.5.8), Intel 2.8

According to Apple you must have the latest version of Snow Leopard so that you can purchase Lion via the Mac App Store (MAS).

And you only need to buy the single copy. It doesn't matter the number of users if it is only being installed on one Mac.
