How to view (not edit) FileMaker Pro files that are in my Dropbox on iPad

Friends,

I'm looking for an iPad app that allows me to view (not edit) Filemaker Pro files, that are in my Dropbox on iPad. I can view all the files in my Dropbox on iPad, like .doc .xls .ppt .pdf .jpg, but the iPad cannot find an app that opens Filemaker Pro files on the iPad.

I'm just looking for a viewer. I just want to see the records in the database. There's no need to edit or add records. Search, Sort and Find would be great.

I know of Filemaker Go (very costly) and FMTouch (complicated and costly), but I need something more simple.

Can you help?

I know of nothing other than Filemaker Go or FMtouch. Filemaker files are in a proprietary format and cannot be read by normal document readers or apps for other database types. If you can't justify Filemaker Go or FMTouch, you'll probably need to export the data from Filemaker to a format that other apps can read; a CSV or tab-delimited text file, for instance.

I bought Filemaker Go. There was nothing else to open Filemaker Pro files on Ipad 2. As you pointed out ...
