Windows XP SP2: Internet Connection, and Drivers

A couple of questions. To preface, I have bootcamp 2.0, which as far as I can tell should be able to run Windows XP SP2 which I was able to install onto my macbook. Everything went smoothly except that I don't have the original mac os x disc that has the new drivers on it for Windows. So my first question is: I can't access the internet while on my Windows Partition can you help me figure out why?

Which leads me to the second question which is that I figured it might have something to do with not having the drivers, so I downloaded the drivers here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL830

However I can't open the file in Windows for some reason even though it's a .exe. I double-click, right-click/click "open", etc. and it just won't open the files. Can you help me here as well?

Thanks for your time,
