my ipod touch 4 generation keeps acting like its on a dockign station

My ipod touch litterly over night has stoped working, like the external speakers. The sound works for head phones most of the time and when u go to ajust ur sound levle in setings but the speaker for ringers and games and alerts wont work even for my music. I've tryed multiple times restarting the ipod but no luck. How or can i have this fixed.?
