replacement battery for macbook 2006

I'm looking to replace the battery on my Macbook and wanted some advice of where to buy and what to buy. The model number is A1185. If anyone can help that would be great.

Apple no longer sells them. I first checked out eBay and other sites but the one that really impressed me was MacSales.

Here's the one I actually purchased for a 2006 White MacBook:

Goes for under $100 USD and looks great.

While I was on this site I added a memory and SSD upgrade as well.

It'll feel like a new machine! Can't wait!

Apple sells replacement batteries for the MacBook. You can find them in the online store here.
