password invalid message after reconfiguring
restored powerbook g4 to original settings shows my name as owner but won't accept my password
See this Apple note on resetting your password: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1274 . You'll need an OS X install disk (gray faced that came with the Powerbook or black faced retail) to reset the password.
