Q: iTunes has stopped working

I have the most recent vers. of iTunes (10.3.1) and it was working fine yeterday. Today, I went to re-start downloading some video lectures from iTunes U and iTunes crashed. Now everytime I try and open it, I get the error message "iTunes has stopped working" and the only option I have is to close the program. I looked around the Apple suppport site and did everything they recommended. ie: Deleting Temp files, Rebuilding the library, opening a new library, creating a new user....nothing worked. So, I uninstalled iTunes, QT, Bonjour, etc, did a registry clean, re-booted and re-installed everything, ran the Apple Software Update. And nothing, I still can't open iTunes. Any other suggestions??? I am running Windows Vista 32-bit.

Any help would be great. I've reinstalled a few times. It all happened when I upgraded iTunes today.

Mine crashes when it tries to add photos. It says reconciling photos and crashes. I can open Quick time and only have the 2 QT files in my Sys32 folder.

The only idea that will work is to go back to 10.3. If Apple doesn't fix this soon, that's what I'll have to do.

The Verizon phone still doesn't have a 4.3 update either. That's been out since March for AT&T.

Guess what, i reformatted my whole bloody pc and got it to work at first

Then after i started to add music in, the "itunes stopped working" crap started again.

    so REFORMATTING DOES NOT HELP!!!!!!

heres a good one for ya... a month or so has gone by, since apple released the new update for iphone and itunes. so ever since that point, i can not check the box that says "include videos" cause if i do, i get the message stating "itunes has stopped working" and then it shuts down, and i am unable to sync my phone. now i thought it might just be my phone, but its the 3gs, iphone 4, and 2 first gen ipads.. all with the same problem. been working with apple this whole time and got no where. apple just released another update for itunes, so i thought for sure, they finally payed attention to my many emails and fixed this problem, but still same result..

uninstalling all the software related to apple, and re-installing everything and deleting temporary files, etc. made it to where i could attach videos again, but next time i synced my phone, same problem. and uninstalling doesnt work anymore, just the one time.

$15 starbucks gift card to anyone that can make this work. cause apple  has bigger fish to fry, and quite frankly im just livid about this whole situation.

I finally reinstalled 10.3.1.55 Wow! I feel liberated!!

I won't be updating my software anytime soon. The new 10.4.1 doesn't fix the issue either.
