The default application for playing mp4 video's is itunes. However I would like to open mp4 files with quicktime instead of itunes. How can I change the default application for opening certain files in mac os x snow leopard?
Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.6.7)
1. Highlight one of the videos and press cmd+i (or right click and select "Get info")
2. Click the dropdown menu and select quicktime (you might have to click "Other..." to find it.
3. Then click "Change All" button below.

Select an MP4 file in the Finder. Open the Info window. From the "Open with" menu, select QuickTime Player. Click "Apply to all." Close the window.
