I have just bought an IPhone4 to replace my blackberry. I have tried to pair my blackberry bluetooth hands free piece with IPhone 4 but failed. I also tried to pair the IPhone 4 with my laptop (Windows7) but failed. Can anyone help me here

You can't pair it with your Windows machine because it only supports handsfree devices like headsets and bluetooth keyboards. It does NOT support bluetooth file transfer. Unless you can magically make your PC appear to be a headset, you can't pair it (except for tethering if you subscribe to a tethering plan).
As for the blackberry bluetooth hands free, I assume that's a RIM branded hands free kit. If it won't pair to it, the blame for that probably lies with RIM.
