How to have ics invites load into an exchange calendar ?

It seems impossible to have ical read ics invites from non exchange emails accounts.

Each time I try to open an ics file sent to my gmail account to have it published to my exchange calendar I have a message like that in the system logs :

Couldn't find an enabled CalDAV account, or a local calendar. Not processing message: [CaliTIPMessage <0x15e3ff30> { REQUEST D9218C92-788D-4AA2-8A33-2070769EE28B 1 20110610T161625Z "test event"}]

I have no local calendars in iCal nor email based one.

My point is I don't want to import any events in any other calendars than my exchange one.

Did anyone ever experienced this problem before ?

Same here, I was using Davmail to our exchange 2003 back-end before but we upgraded to 2010 and Davmail stopped working properly so I tried the native exchange support in iCal and it worked... except I can't add events to the calendar through .ics files from mail... this is very basic functionality, it's beyond silly that it doesn't seem to be supported.

Same error message:

Apple any suggestions?

Proper calendaring support is really the missing feature for me on OSX.
