twitter/facebook scroll skip

Safari on my Macbook Air with using trackpad experience a strange scrolling problem in both Facebook and Twitter.

The problem seems to happen when you get to a point in the page and FB or Twitter auto extend the feed you are looking at. When this happens, my location on the page jumps down so I find myself having to scroll back up to find where I left off. It is very annoying..

This option does not work. I have the same problem that the OP has and others have experienced it as well. It does not happen in Chrome, IE, Firefox, or any other browser. As you scroll down the Facebook news feed and near the end, the feed loads more posts automatically for you. When this happens, the page jumps up at least 10 or so posts causing you to have to go back to see what you missed. This is a problem with Safari as I have a brand new MacBook (2011) and experience the issue only in Safari or using the Fluid.app (which is using a Safari browser).
