Cant download iphone update
Help PLEASE!!!!! Cant download update for iphone 4 no matter how often i try.
What version are you on and what version are you updating to?

Error message?
Not sure what version im on right now. Got the iphone 4 in oct last year & as far as i can remember havent been able to download the software update at all this year. When i connect iphone to itunes the update it offers is 4.3.3

Without knowing the specific error it's hard to diagnose, but the most common problem is your antivirus or firewall interfering with the download. Try disabling them.
It says itunes has encountered a problem & needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Then asks if i want to send an error report. When i initially attempt to download update a message comes up saying purchased items have not been transferred to the itunes library. Transfer these items before updating this iphone. But i have no idea how to transfer items. Thanks for the help
Connect the phone, do not sync, and choose "Transfer Purchases" from the File menu.
i cant update my iphone 4 from itunes i downloaded the IOS 5 and when the download is finish it gives me an error of time has run out

I am trying to update my Itunes on windows XP and I keep getting this error half way through
"the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable"

Drove me nuts too... go to your LAN settings and make sure it's set to "automatically detect settings", see if that helps
