You should log in using your apple store account
If you did not have "Find My Phone" already setup on your phone, there is no way to track your phone, remote wipe it or put a passcode on it.
mine was stolen too! how do we lock it or froze it without activating the 'Find My Phone' application? help plss!
You can't.
My iphone got stolen too, i used "find my iphone" to locate my iphone but ever since it got stolen it indicates that its offline which means its either the phone is switched off or didnt access to the internet. I've already requested for a remote wipe but i didnt get wipe till now ( its been nearly a month since my iphone got stolen).
My iphone passcode was enabled but the erase data was disabled, so my biggest concern is can they access my photos and notes in anyway? I've already changed my email passwords but im worried about notes, contacts and photos!
And oh .. Am not sure if it didnt get wiped but when i requested a remote wipe it still indicates that it didnt get wiped. Please tell me what can i do more to prevent whoever stole my iphone to access my stuff in my iphone!
Hi, my iPhone 4s was stolen and I did not find the details of "lock my phone" functionality. Does it work based on serial number even they erase everything from the phone or it needs to be still with my data. I requested lock a week ago and still it is showing me, tat the phone is offline. Does it lock in the moment, when the the S/N appears in the internet and try to be activated? thank you for help..
If it's been that long, the thief has most likely already wiped the phone and set it up fresh, in which case the wipe will not take. It looks for the device to come on line and connect to iCloud with your account.
That seems pretty naive, at the least very disappointed.
Nobody is sure about anything from the time the thief turn location of, we should have complete access to it from the moment we inform iCloud we suspect our device was stolen.

I do not think that word means what you think it means.
Really?
And I think you're wrong.
In my opinion developers of FMiPhone think thieves aren't clever enought to turn internet off quickly.
It seems the word naive could define this position, no?
In fact the word in my country means ship.
So don't expect much. But the least I can do is to understand my the words.
Or are you right?
Find my iPhone is a service designed to help you find your phone if you lose it, NOT if it's stolen.
