Mail.app : smart Mailbox misbehaves with condition "any"

Weird problem I found out today.

I created a Smart Mailbox to help me filtering messages to a certain company (for example : Apple)

  • the condition in the Smart Mailbox is "entire message contains Apple"
  • It works fine.

I want to add a second criteria to group messages about a second company (for example : Mac)

  • the conditions now look like : "contains messages that match ANY of the following conditions"
    • entire message contains "Apple"
    • entire message contains "Mac"
  • It doesn't show any result at all !!!!

Trying to do the filtering by changing "ANY" to "ALL" works correctly.

What's wrong here ? Do I have a wrong perception of what "ANY" means ?

iMac 24" 3.06 GHZ, 4GB/750 GB nVidia 8800 GS, Mac OS X (10.6.6), SpeedTouch Router, 802.11g, Nikon D80, PBG4 1.33 and iPad 3G/32

That's a known bug. I've reported it, and was told that it was already something Apple is aware of. Evidently hasn't been fixed yet, though.
