Restore a specific app's data

I dont think there is a way to do this but it would be nice if Apple would add this. If i delete a game say angry birds it would be awesome if i could connect to itunes or icloud (once released) and restore angry birds and my progress in the game not just the application. As more and more games are released we will run out of space for them. It would just be nice to not lose any progress we have in a game just because we need the space for the latest and greatest games.
