¿Anybody installed 16gb ram on the 13in MPB i7?
I read in many websites that my MBP 13 i7 can use up to 16 gb ram even Apple specify 8 gb. Anybody is using it with 16gb does the processor really takes advantage of it?

I recently made the upgrade for someone (on a MBP 13" i7) from 4GB to 16GB. Considering the RAM upgrade was as expensive as the machine ($1499) I'd consider it completely unnecessary. But the user insisted and I'm not in a position to tell them how to spend their money.
Considering the price point, it seems ridiculous to put almost $1500 into a $1500 machine. If you really need that sort of computing power, the 13" MBP even with an i7 and 16GB probably isn't a good fit for you.
From what I saw after setting up the machine it's obviously extremely fast (they have the SSD in it as well) but processes that took 6 seconds took... 4 seconds. It certainly wasn't a complete game changer.
