Windows 98 and Quicktime

I'm running Windows 98. What version of Quicktime can I download? It appears that Quicktime 7 only runs on Win 2000 or XP. What do I do since I'm on Win 98?

Compac, Windows 98

Hi -
I had good luck in the past with QuickTime Version 5.0.5
You can get this (and other older versions) at:

http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=quicktime

(I have used only the PictureViewer recently. I use
Microsoft's Media Player for Music & Video playing.)

Clark, This is a gold mine! I've spent hour upon hour, even entire afternoons trying to download QT.........links keep sending us to Version 7 which does not coordinate with this older model 98 SE..........I've used your url for "older versions" and the 652 version is just finished. All I want to do is read websites, and e-mails sent to me, e-card sites to send;without the warnings that plug-ins are required. I use Firefox and Netscape. Firefox has looked for the plug ins and says all is ok. Do I also have to do something about plug ins for Netscape. In fact one of the links for the plugs for Firefox sent me to find them at a Netscape site. All I want is the basic ability to read the pages. Do you advise anything I'm doing wrong? Also notice Nick advised his good luck with the 6.52 Presently I'm just hoping the download works.
I sure would appreciate any input.
