I don't mind the chip. But someone pointed out to me that it would be nice to re-give it that dull look.

I doubt the Apple store has body touchup supplies but it's worth asking. The body is painted I believe. You should be able to get some matching color paint and maybe water/thin it down and use a rag to "buff" the matte paint back into the affected area.
