can't close quicktime player

Question

can't close quicktime player

I double clicked on a file to watch in quicktime player. It said it was loading the movie but it does nothing else. I can't even close quicktime.

I have a imac. thanks

You can force quit the app using Activity Monitor

/Applications/Utlities

The Activity Monitor app is located in the Utilities folder. Select My Processes from the pop up menu on the right. Select QuickTime then click the red Force quit button.

I can't even close quicktime.

Or you can use the "Command-Option-Escape" short-cut key combination to open the "Force Quit Applications" window to force the QT Player to quit.
