how do i fix this >>> /opt/local/etc/sudoers: /etc/sudoers.d near line 102 <<< sudo: parse error in /opt/local/etc/sudoers near line 102 sudo: no valid sudoers sources found, quitting

i've tried everything to fix it, from using a back up to getting it from the installer. nothing seems to work?

Did you provide your admin password? Hopefully, if you run the system sudo, it will by pass whatever MacPorts has done. If that doesn't work, try creating a new admin user and attempting the uninstall there.


While I'm no fan of MacPorts, my goal isn't necessarily to get you to uninstall it. My first goal is to get your system fully functional again. Then, maybe post a new question asking how to accomplish what you really want to do with Ruby. People who are familiar with that can give you instructions and hopefully warn you of any pitfalls. Depending on your situation, MacPorts may still be the best option. You just need to make sure you can do it without sacrificing basic system functionality.
