I have a good wi fi connection, however when I try to log onto Face time I get a check connection error? help

I just got this IPAD 2 and I have wi fi up and working with mail and safari, however when I try to log on to Face Time I keep getting a check connection error? I know that i have a good connection. What can i do?

iPad 2, iOS 4.3.2

You can try the following advice from Dah-veed:


Some folks have discovered that changing their DNS service fixes FaceTime connection issues.


The ideal way is to configure your modem/router with DNS service, but often settings in System Preferences/Network on your Mac will override the router settings. Try either of these;


OpenDNS

208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220


Google Public DNS

8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 (edit: rj)
