need to turn on when using iphone as hotspot
do i need to turn on the iphone when using as a hot spot or i can leave it in the standby mode?
The iPhone is on when in standby or sleep mode. Sleep with the iPhone means the screen is off. Email can still be received in the background, you can play music with the iPod, or play music with a 3rd party music streaming app that has been updated to run in the background when the iPhone is asleep or when the screen is off. The personal hotspot feature will not work when the iPhone is powered off obviously.
