I think it happens after my son lets the charge run out. When we recharge its 1970! Someone said the internal battery may be dying?
Yes, if the charge runs down this can happen.
If the iPod does not stay charged for as long as the specification time then the battery may be beginning to fail.
How old is the iPod?
I bought it in December. My son will let it got for weeks at a time and then recharge it. Should we take it to the apple store and have them look at it, or should he just keep the thing charged.
iphone 4 turns itself off and on again when the date is set to 01/01/1970. Thishappens even when the battery is charging 80% or 100%, always. I sentApple's iPhone service center, three times, but they never solved the problem.
