Time Machine

My OS is set to French. With TM, I restored the Pictures folder (not just the content but the whole folder). Now I'm stock with the English default name Pictures; I can't rename to the French name Images. How can I return to the French name Images? I tried switching OS language from the Preferences Pane but it didn't work.
