Has any one had a malware install package called idospav . pkg download to their Mac?

I could have force quit Safari, but I had other tabs. (I knew it would just show up again when I opened it and opened last closed window.) So I clicked on the only option in the 'pop-up' and it downloaded the pkg file and looked like it began to scan my computer. You know how it looks like it is really checking, but it's probably done on the website (or at least I hope it was an automated image/visual). I immediately closed the tab (command w) and the installer window, and put the pkg "file" in the trash and deleted trash.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.7)

I apparently downloaded it and now have pulled everything I could find into the trash, but whenever Safari is open, I get a pop up that says "your computer is infected" and when I close it it sends me a **** page. There is a little shield on my top bar that I need to delete by can't drag it so don't know how. Think it is the brains of this outfit on my computer. Geez. HELP!
