How do I get battery charge % to display on iPhone 3G?

Hi,

I have an iPhone 3G too, and actually you can't see the % battery life in your display. Try to download an application that I have, it's called Battery and you can see you battery life of your iPhone. It's pretty good;)

no what apple101ca is wrong, i have a iphone 3g and if u go to the battery or display i cant remember u can turn the % display on. 🙂

And where can you set that on? I can't find in preferences!!

well my phone is broken right now but im total sure there is an on button for that so yea!!

Navigate to the "Settings" app. Go to the "General" tab. You'll notice "Usage" is one of your first options to view. Tap to open. You'll see the "Battery Percentage" switch that you can turn on. *Note: This will not work on an iPhone 3G, only 3Gs and higher running iOS 4.0 or later.
