Will my 2008 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo MacBook (white) update smoothly to Lion?

I have an early 2008- era MacBook and I am curious as to whether or not my computer will make a smooth transition into Mac OS X Lion... I have looked at a few forums but it is difficult to find one that is honed in to my specific model of MacBook. Thanks!

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.7), Early 2008 Model

Make sure your Mac can run Lion.

Your Mac must have an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor to run Lion. Find out if your current Mac has one of these processors by clicking the Apple icon at the top left of your screen, then choosing About This Mac.

You will be fine. You will need a minimum of 2 GBs of RAM to run Lion.
