ok soooo, on my iphone 4, when the flash is on and i take a picture it comes out very blurry and white with like a bluish tint. there is no protective cover on it but it seems like the flash is too bright. i didn't have this problem before and don't know why it started doing this. please help.

Are these photos taken in daylight or at night/in dark room etc?

Make sure that, if you have recently purchased your iPhone, the display film is taken off the back, this can cause the symptoms you have described, I realize there is no protective cover, but that could be taken to mean a case.
Otherwise, follow Troubleshooting iPhone hardware notably the Camera section.
That failing, follow How to backup your data and setup as a new device.
If the issue persists, then browse your Service options
Make sure to select the appropriate country.
these photos are in a dark room. not too dark but still. even i take one in the day with flash on it still shows very bad.
i have had this phone for approx. 8 months and it used to take very good pictures in the dark with flash the flash on just started acting up. dont know why. there is no protective cover or anything on back of phone just the glass...

Hi Maria, you need to be careful where you place the red box in the viewfinder before you take the picture, if it lands on a dark area the camera will overcompensate and the result will be too light and probably shakey because the camera is keeping the shutter open for longer, the opposite is true if you land on a light area.These things are only expected to take pictures of average subjects under average lighting conditions (like all cameras) so you need to be careful about how you actually take the picture.
tried taking pictures in half lit room and still come out white with a bluish tint.it's the phone, not me......
What happens if you take a picture outside in daylight?
with the flash on it comes out severely white and blurry....with flash off clear beautiful picture so idk
Seems to be a flash fault. Try taking it to an Apple store.
ok really i dropped my phone yesterday and as i was going through everything to make sure it still worked......my flash works now!! 🙂
Just be careful not to have your fingers anywhere near the flash when u click a picture. It seems the white haze is light reflecting of your fingers. With your fingers out of the way (although very awkward to hold) the pics are flawless!
Jesse, I have the same problem, my white 4s doesnt have protective cover, but all the pictures I take with flash come out blurry. That has happened since I bought it.
