i have one ipod 5th generation classic that asks for recovery but i will loose everything!! can someone help me???

I tried all the programs that are in internet and i tried also to solve the problem using my ipod as a pen drive! Everything in vain and no returns...
Sometimes i´m listening to the musics and the ipod just turn off and shows a message that i need to connect to the computer....When i do so, he takes to long to be identified (even because sometimes is low battery) and when he is identidied by itunes i see a message that he need a recovery....

I don´t know what to do! I´m afraid that i will loose all my musics! And i don´t have them in any other place!!!!
when i try to see them in the "my computer" folder everything is to slow and just dont open the folder "E" that is from the ipod but without the name!

pleasee someone help me!!
