Mail, how to make new folders
I am in Mail, I have these folders on the left, I want to add a new one--this is where I store say Work emails, personal, receipts etc.

At the bottom left there is also the little "+" sign.
This is the default icon used by Apple to tell you that you can add things.

Actually, it was in the Recent Content pane when I logged in so I can't really take much credit 🙂
I used to hang out here a lot, now sometimes days go past without anyone posting at all, so a bit of activity was a surprise. Ah yes, the Recent Content, in the new design gives an overview. Now I understand better. 🙂
Yes, Recent Content is good - but doesn't make up (to me ) for the rubbish spell check 😟
I see no + sign... How to create folder in mail on MacBook ?
Right-click in the folder list and "New Mailbox" or from the menu bar, Mailbox/New mailbox
Mailboxes are what folders are called in Mac Mail
