Frozen and error (1645)

Hello,

I have an ipad 2 32Gb. I was having issues with some apps lately, but today when I tried a sudoku game the ipad froze. I tried to quit the app, then to turn-off the ipad and still was frozen. I connected it to the computer and nothing changed. Finally, when I tried to restore it, a window with the following message appeared " ipad "x" could not be restored. An unknown error ocurred (1645)". Can somebody tell me what is the problem, and why that happened?

Any of the post are the same than mine. I was not updating the software at all. 😕

I couldn't turn-off the ipad even with the Home button, and then I couldn't restore the ipad because of the error. 😮

It is probably to late for this now, but if it ever freezes on you again, try a full reboot...

Hold the home and power buttons down

keep holding them past the swipe to turn off screen

the screen will go black... KEEP HOLDING THE BUTTONS =)

A white apple logo will appear on the screen, now release the buttons and let the iPad boot.

If it is frozen, it is possible that all of those things will not happen, the key to this reboot is to hold until the white apple logo appears.

For the current situation, you can try putting it into recovery mode and go from there.

good answer, my safari was freezed and I had no idea how to solve the problem........restart like windows ;-)))
