Trying to use Publisher to make Jam Jar labels I come up against a page size issue which will not allow me to print off a selection of labels.... turning to Pages and looking for a suitable template / wizard I do not see any such selection or Help notes..Advice and assistance please.

Thanks for the reply Mr. ? Mrs.? Brody but I really don't want spend $49 + ( about£30 in GB Sterling) to add to an already expensive computer's line up of applications none of which I can get to provide me with some simple labels for jam jars.
Hi, I have the same problem. did you ever found out how to make the labels? I have looked everywhere possible the manuel does not give any info on this. I am rather puzzled that such an advanced computer does not have anything for this.
I managed to do this in Pages - hope this helps.
I already had some Avery labels (J8159, 64 x 34mm/24 per sheet). I went to the Avery website - http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/Templates-%26-Software/Templates/?Ns=Rank - and downloaded a template for my labels in Word format. Pages has no trouble opening the file, et voila, jam labels galore.
Bonjour, thank you very much for your help. It has taken me a very long time and I have not got to it yet. I downloaded the avery template in Word but when it got to Pages it simply is not in the form of a label anymore? No use to say I have been spending a lot of time trying to see why but no luck. Anyway, you have help quite a lot. Maybe it has to do with Lion and the fact that I am new to Apple. I'll try again later must go now. M
When an application doesn't support printing odd paper sizes, and neither does the driver, there is this cool application here you can try:
