Where's the FAQ page for this forum?

There is none sorry.

Just do a search, or ask a question.

That mostly works.

Having FAQ's would be too easy, right? lol

This is a user forum, so if you feel strongly about it make one yourself.

Personally I don't see how doing a search for a question is slower or harder then looking at a FAQ and scrolling down till you find the question you want to ask.

FAQs can be useful, but then most people who ask questions here don't even bother to do a search and ask what has been asked before.

Those same people will hardly know what a FAQ is, or bother to read it.

But again, you can collate a FAQ, and add it as a discussion, not a question.

I could then ask Apple to turn it into a "User Tip".

I was saying that in jest.

I meant no ill will I promise you.

I really don't mind.

I take these forums with an open and ready to laugh mindset.

I might actually make up a list of most often mentioned or asked question myself.

I think you need to have about 500 points.

I recently was allowed to, and if I remember it was points based.

You get points for every time someone ticks you as having answered their question, or helped.

What gives a member the ability to be able to tick another member for answering your question?

I've been looking for that since I joined up. So far that option isn't enabled for me.

If you ask the question I believe you can tick a correct answer.

Someone else started this discussion so they have control of the correct answer.

Oh, ok. That makes sense. Thank you. I kept trying to tick posters that gave me the correct answer I was looking for within an existing thread. I was always told to not start a thread if there was one already on the topic.
