    Had those features been of importance to Apple, they would have been included into THIS release.


    Just look up Logic Pro.... It USED to be a REAL professional application (It is still used professionally) but all its features are now highly consumer oriented. They killed it. But they monetized the H out of it. And that is what Apple has become. Money. Used to be spirit. Now its money. And nothing wrong with that. If that is what your aim is, great going.


    Will Final Cut X be the most used PAID-FOR-APP... YES. But not in the pro-world. And WHO cares. The Pros. NOT THE MAKERS... The Pros make 1% (if that much) of all the users. So screw us.

    I just want the bugs fixed in FCS and FCP 7 now that would be a novel concept providing a product that actually lives up to the advertising hype

    RedHavoc, did you tell them that you purchased by mistake or that it was a mistake purchasing it? I have applied for a refund but told them that in hindsight I regretted buying it. Should I have said that it was a slip of the finger?


    In any event I have applied for a refund and I want it off my machine...

    I told them that due to the lack of certain features which I was not made aware of prior to purchase the application was useless to me in it's current form.

    FYI, I just received my refund. I also told them due to lack of certain features. It makes sad to not be able to keep working in the latest version of FCP, but all the missing features are things that I use on a daily basis. If I can't lay back to a D5 with 5.1 audio or send things off to a mix FCP X is of no use to me. For now I will keep using FCP 7, until they either decide to fix the mistakes or abandon what once made FCP a "Pro" program. Until then I will keep my fingers crossed that they can sort things out and give us the program I think we all thought we were getting.

    Why is there no "30 day trial" for this thing??  (that would surely solve the "refund" problems)

    It's utterly ridiculous that one can't try this (controversial) software before one forks over $300 for it.
