Exporting Photos from iPhoto to PC

I need to copy my entire library of pictures from iPhoto into a format that can be easily imported onto a PC. I have no idea how to do this and time is somewhat of the essence. Thank you!!

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

select the photo(s) and export them to a desktop folder as JPEGs - the folder can be used on any computer

If you want to keep the iPhoto event structure search for posts by Terence Devlin for a third party program that will assist with that - or search Google for the program

Ok so maybe this should be posted in a separate forum, but once they're exported, how can I actually transfer the files to the PC? I tried putting it on an external hard drive, but they're only compatible with mac or pc. I looked into DropBox, but that wasn't really working for me either. There has to be an easier way to do this! We're on the same secured wireless network. Please help!
