iPod touch 2nd Gen does not connect with Airplay

iPod Touch 2nd Generation with 4.2.2 iOS does not connect well to Apple Tv Gen 2 any more.

Song hiccups, then sound dies.

Changed song, same result. Sound disappears although song bar is progressing on the iPod.

Anyone else has a similar problem?

What is the solution or work-around?

iPod MB528LL - was just replaced under AppleCare warranty 4 weeks ago.
