I have a new iPhone4 and it has some Apps that came with the phone that I don't want, Stocks for instance. How do I remove this icon from the phone? I know how to move it around but I can't make it go away. Thanks.

The app that came with the iPhone you will not be able to delete them. But to delete other programs just hold your finger on the app until is start to wiggle and a red "x" in the left top corner, then touch the "x".
You can't delete any of the pre-installed apps. Some can be restricted under the restrictions setting, but none can be deleted. Move the stocks app to your last page or a folder if you don't want to look at it.
The stock iOS apps CAN'T be deleted. You can hide them by putting them inside a folder or moving them to another home screen page.

I had the Instagram icon and I deleted that lame program but the icon stuck so I used that useful hint and got rid of it in a jiffy, thanks so much!
