Support for html5 with MathML

We have been using the Wiki server made by Confluence with an add-on equation renderer MathTex.cgi

At one time Safari appeared to properly render the equations, but its recent updates have broken this feature. I have been told that most browsers will be supporting html5 with MathML soon and that should solve the rendering problems. When will Safari support html5 with MathML?
