how do you remove effects that I've added?
How do you remove the effects you added on garageband? such as reverb, echo, etc, so that you can use different effects since the ones i tried aren't working?
MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

thanks but what i was trying to do was remove the effects completely so I add different ones. The solution was to click on the one I wanted to remove and scroll up to 'None'.

The page that HT linked to tells you that all of GB's effects are nondestructive, i.e. you can remove them at any time. Press "i" to get to the track info pane, and under the "Edit" tab you can change or uncheck all the effects.

(Let the page FULLY load. The link to your answer is at the top of your screen)
I know this is late, but I think I know what you mean and have a solution. For example if you want to get rid of the Tremelo Effectt under edit in the information pane?? Just go to the top drop down on the effect you want to get out of the list of implemented effects and select 'none'. That will clear it. Hope this helps.
um, huh? what? that didn't tell me anything
sorry. i'm still lost.
Drag the bottom left or right edge to reveal the missing portion(s).????
Yes. Exactly what the post before yours says.
