I updated my itunes which then prompted me to update my iphone software. This caused my iphone to become stuck. I have restarted my phone several times, I have removed itunes from my computer and re installed it. I have tried to restore my phone and now it is stuck with the apple logo and the progress bar and has been stuck ever since. What do I do now?? Any ideas as I am about to go CRAZY!!!😕

Put your phone in DFU mode
Ok so you sooo know what my next question is going to be!!! I have put into recovery mode several times, is DFU different?
1) Hold buttons sleep + home untill iPhone turns off;
2) Open iTunes;
3) Hold home button and plug the phone to your computer. The phone will turn on and the iTunes + Arrow + cable screen will appear.;
4) iTunes will recover you phone from unsuccessful recovery process.
hi im having the same problem and have just plugged phone in holding the home button by my phone is still dead? nothings happening? do you know of anything else i can try?
I can't get the phone to turn off. It keeps cycling from the apple to the attach to itunes. It never really gets connected and then disconnects from itunes to start all over again. Please give me some help. This all started after the update which I don't think was to help the 3gs
