iWire Mini Display Port to HDMI - DO NOT BUY!

I'm sorry I'm absolutely disgusted and have wasted money on this item.

It doesn't work! I can get the video to work, but the sound just does not come through! I've tried everything, literally everything!

Why doesn't Apple thoroughly test stuff like this before they release it, I'm not impressed.

If anyone has any solutions I will be willing to consider them before I ask for a refund on this failed product.

Apple recommends the adapters from either Moshi or Griffin and have tested them.

No mentioning of an iWire one there.

So it's a manufacturer fault and not Apples.

Yea thanks but that doesn't help.

I got this from the Apple website, I understand that they may sell other products, but I'm very disappointed. I've wasted a whole day a lot of money only to find out that I can another product from Moshi and Griffin...

I'd recommend submitting that feedback to Apple, whining about it here doesn't help. The site is: www.apple.com/feedback

I checked the Apple Store for the iWire product but couldn't find it there.

That's why I assumed that you bought it elsewhere.

As already posted use the Feedback site and/or contact the Apple Store.
