Looking at the Lion web page on Apple it occurred to me that I will have to pay $29 for all of my current computers. Does anyone know if there will be a family pack option? Just thinking ahead.

I don't think you will. From what I hear once you download it you can load it on other computers. I'm sure as it gets closer to release they will provide more information on this.
No. Lion requires an Intel-based Mac with a Core 2 Duo, i3, i5, i7 or Xeon processor and 2GB of RAM. The Lion upgrade can be installed on all your authorized personal Macs.

Go to each computer you want to upgrade in turn
Open Itunes and sign in to YOUR account and then open the Mac App store and click on purchases.
You can then select the OS10.7 download and follow the upgrade again.
Once installed log out of iTunes and allow the user to relog in.
Simples.
Just remember this upgrade mantra: backup, BACKUP, BACKUP! 🙂

It was easier when we could just pop in a disc. Oh well, everything is getting harder.
You might want to try this. Won't know if it works untilI've downloaded Lion.

OSX Lion is available on the Mac app store. Any Mac that you have with your Apple ID signed in such as the app store allows you to re download OSX Lion. Ex. you have 3 Macs. 1 iMac, 1 MacBook Pro and 1 MacBook Air. All three have 10.6.8 Snow Leopard and the Mac App store signed in to your Apple ID. You have granted the ability to download OSX Lion on all three.
