Soundflower kext rejection
I am baffled by the repeated rejection of all software applications' attempts (including system software updates) to install later versions of the soundflower .kext file inside them. Any audio application trying to do the same also yield an error message saying that the SF kext file cannot be installed because the file was incorrectly installed (in the first place?). I cannot tell if this lack of updating the SF kext files is limiting my audio options or not, frankly, but what is wrong here and why will these programs not overwrite the existing (2007?) Soundflower kext?
Thanks.
