Ipod MIni Frozen

My Ipod mini has completely frozen. It is displaying now playing at the top and the list below it. I have tried everything to reset it with no luck. Can anyone help ?

Ipod Mini 4gb, Windows XP

Without knowing what you've actually tried, I have to ask... have you tried holding the MENU and SELECT (center) buttons until you see the Apple logo?

Hi saw the ? section regards to mini ipod's freezing did anyone manage to resolve the problem? as I am having the same trouble and have followed all the procedures given in trouble shooting section but its still frozen can any one help me please m?

Someone suggested that I changed the lead to the computer. Did that and still no good.It's just completely frozen. I've tried everything in tech support.

This has happened to me a couple of times now, and none of the procedures to reset work I may be wrong but the only solution is to let the battery run out then its fine again ?? dont know why this happens? Can anyone on here shed some light?

I have managed to unfreeze my Ipid after two days of frustration.Quite simply do what support suggest and that is to toggle the hold switch a few times.Then hold the select button down and the menu at the same time.However they say it will take about six seconds. I held them down for about one minute. Low and behold, the apple logo came up and were working again.Hope it works for you as well.
