I had the same problem. Additionally, the macbook would not acknowledge the superdrive with this crazy disc in it. The solution was to power down machine and start it while pressing the F12 key. The cd was spit out as soon as it powered up again. I did encounter problems powering down with the superdrive plugged into the USB port. I unplugged it, powered down, plugged it back in and powered up while pressing the F12.

Hey guys, I realize this is thread from over a year ago but it is one of the most popular results to come up when you google search it. So, I figured I would throw my 2 cents in.

I had a problem getting a disc to eject from an external usb superdrive. I had tried EVERYTHING.... boot up with eject button, disc utils, terminal, even tried to plug it into a windows machine and eject it.... nothing.

Anyway, long story short, I WAS able to get it to eject by turning it upside-down then clicking eject.

IT WORKED!!!

I just wanted to update this thread so anybody else had this issue they could add it to the list to try.

Hope it helps somebody else.
