removing an uninstalled app?

Hello. About a month or so ago I tried to download the app "ChopChopRunner" on my iPad running on 3G. The app was over 20MB and couldn't download. I then plugged my iPad into my mac and tried to download the app via itunes, but still no luck. Now I just want it gone! I've tried almost everything, unchecking it, removing all my apps, but somehow these two identical apps will not go away. Help!
